Law of Probability

If you give to a lawyer or an engineer 100 MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS (MCQ)  in medicine it is likely that he will score 20% if he is dumb enough. But if the one who formulated the questions is dumber, i.e., asks the question in the singular and has 4 answers in the plural and one in the singular, then the lawyer or engineer  is likely to answer that question by using common sense. If you add questions that can be answered by exclusion, then he might answer those. To make a long story short, a student with enough wits coupled with an examiner with no wits, will allow the student to score more marks than his knowledge in that subject allows. THIS CAN ONLY HAPPEN if you do not know how to formulate questions or ask only recall type info. THE SOLUTION SHOULD ALWAYS BE PROBLEM SOLVING QUESTIONS. This will separate those who know from those who do not.
